In May 2019, the ASA Social Fund enabled the building of this bridge in Katwe, Uganda. Due to poorly-constructed, makeshift bridges, many children once lost their lives while attempting to cross the trenches in Katwe during heavy rains. Since the erection of this new bridge, there have been zero fatalities in this location.
